The City Manager is the chief administrative officer for the City of Novi and is responsible for all city departments. The City Manager attends all City Council meetings and reports directly to the City Council on all city matters. Among other duties, this office is charged with the preparation and submittal of the Annual Budget and Capital Program, reports regularly on the financial operations of the city and maintains active membership in various civic organizations.
The Assistant City Manager assists the City Manager in developing program strategies to achieve City Council goals and to improve the quality of life in Novi. He coordinates day-to-day operations and ensures integration of services among City Departments as well as the dependable delivery of high quality services while conserving community resources.
