Description:
As part of the City of Novi’s annual concrete maintenance contract, crews will remove and replace damaged concrete roadway panels and perform joint repairs along Olde Orchard Street from Grand River Avenue to 10 Mile Road
Traffic Control & Detours:
Olde Orchard Street will be available to southbound-only traffic. Northbound traffic will be detoured to 10 Mile Road to northbound Haggerty Road, westbound on Grand River Avenue, and back to Olde Orchard Street.
Work will occur on one half of the road at a time. Crews will remove, re-pour, and repair concrete on one side, which will cure for 7–9 days before traffic is shifted to complete the second phase on the other side.
No Street Parking: Parking will be strictly prohibited on Olde Orchard Street during construction
Property Access: All resident and business access points impacted during construction will be notified in advance and maintained at all times
Progress:
9/17/28: The contractor will mobilize to the site soon to begin setting up traffic control and removing concrete panels along the southbound half of Olde Orchard Street.
