Description:
In cooperation with the Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA), the City is moving forward with a plan to make significant improvements to the existing sidewalk, lighting, and road pavements on both the east/west and north/south portions of Main Street from Grand River Avenue to Novi Road.
Traffic Control/Detours:
No detours will be necessary for this project, but may involve small, distinct lane closures at the specific work areas. The lane closures will be protected with traffic cones and barrels along with flagging personnel while the work is actively in progress.
Progress:
7/23/2026: The City is finalizing plans and specifications with the CIA for approval and looking to go out to bid by the end of this month.
