CONSENT AGENDA REMOVALS AND APPROVALS – All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the normal Agenda.

1. Approval of resolution to authorize Budget Amendment #2022-5

2. Consideration of approval to award engineering design services to AECOM for the Lakeshore Park Tunnel Replacement, in the amount of $39,644.10, and approval to advance purchase a 7-foot by 10-foot concrete tunnel to replace the existing tunnel, in the estimated amount of $70,000.

3. Adoption of a resolution authorizing approval of a contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation to agree to the rights and obligations associated with the construction of a roundabout at Taft Road and Nine Mile Road and rehabilitation of Taft Road from the southern City limits to 10 Mile Road, with the City of Novi’s estimated responsibility for construction in the amount of $897,266.

4. Approve the recommendation from the Consultant Review Committee to appoint Kapnick Insurance as the City’s authorized broker for property and liability insurance coverage for 2022-23 in the amount of $464,474.15.
