2026 Capital Improvement Program Millage Renewal

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) identifies and plans Capital Improvements for maintaining the physical assets used to deliver municipal services to residents and businesses. The CIP Millage helps fund these projects and was renewed by voters for 10 years starting in July 2027 at the same 1-mill rate.

Your support allows the City to continue investing in the parks, facilities, and large apparatus that help make Novi a great place to live, work, and play — all without increasing the existing millage rate.

Revenue from the continuation of the CIP Millage can be used only for the Capital Improvement Program and other Capital Projects. These funds are kept separate from the General Fund operating budget, which is the money the City uses for everyday operating costs.
