2024 Updates

Wildlife Woods Park is scheduled for a parking lot expansion and the addition of four new pickleball courts beginning Monday, July 29 and finishing in September. The courts need 30 days to cure, and the acrylic coating must be installed before the onset of cold weather necessitating construction take place during this time. We anticipate opening the new courts for play the first week of October.  Access to the park will need to be closed during construction for safety purposes. Pickleball courts at Meadowbrook Commons and ITC Sports Park are open and available for play. Thank you for your patience as we bring more enhancements to the park.

November 2021

Installation of the outdoor exercise stations is now complete. The project was made possible through the Special Outreach Services (SOS) program which is focused on increasing engagement and delivering support services and resources to senior citizens and residents in Novi with special needs or accessibility challenges.
Outdoor Adult Fitness Parks have been growing in popularity in recent years as the benefits of outdoor exercise have been recognized. Improved psychological and physiological health, disease prevention, improved adherence to regular exercise, decreased tension and depression, increased energy, greater satisfaction levels and access to green environments are just some of the numerous benefits these playgrounds can provide.
