With assistance from two Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grants, the City of Novi acquired more than 13 acres of land in 2018 for development as a future trailhead park and an additional 20 acres of land in 2019 as an expansion. The park features natural woodlands and wetlands with a short segment of the ITC Trail running along the Garfield Rd boundary.
In 2023, a shelter featuring park benches and a bike repair station was constructed to provide additional access to the ITC Trail. It was dedicated in honor of former Council Member Wayne Wrobel. Parking is available at 49272 Nine Mile Rd, Novi 48374
