Speakers wishing to display visual materials through the City’s audiovisual system must provide the materials to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5 p.m. five days before the meeting and the materials cannot be changed before the meeting.
 
CONSENT AGENDA REMOVALS AND APPROVALS (See items A-R) All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the normal Agenda. 

MATTERS FOR COUNCIL ACTION

1. Approval to accept a donation from the Novi Parks Foundation in the amount of $30,000 and amend the current fiscal year budget; to purchase a Custom Inclusive Play Booster Playground to be installed at Ella Mae Power Park, from Superior Play in the amount of $115,000.

2. Approval to award a construction contract for the Haggerty Road Widening project to Commerce Construction & Landscaping, Inc., the low bidder, in the amount of $141,050, subject to final review and approval of form of agreement by the City Manager's office and City Attorney.

Consideration of a request from Kris Krstovski for a variance from Section 11-276(b) of the Design and Construction Standards requiring pathways along the arterial roadway network in accordance with the City's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan for the single family home under construction at 44780 11 Mile Road.

4. Approval of 2014 Retention Basin and Capacity Improvements Contract with Oakland County to authorize project costs for capacity upgrades at the Walled Lake-Novi Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the amount of $446,809; and concurrently amending the FY 14/15 budget in the amount of $446,809.
