Allongé Danceworks
Chelsea Erickson has been teaching dance in Novi since 2014. She first studied Vaganova technique under Surgery Rayevskiy before obtaining her Bachelor of Art in Dance from Alma College. She has a wealth of teaching experience, including a background in Rhythmic Gymnastics and is the choreographer for Novi High School’s spring musical. Through she has high expectations for her students, she prioritizes a patient and kind approach to dance instruction and encourages the love of dance through the joy of movement.
Polynesian Dancers of Michigan
The Polynesian Dancers of Michigan and Halau ‘O Ku’ukamali’l School of Dance are excited to continue to bring authentic cultural experiences and classes to Novi! Our dance school is under the direction of Kumu Hula Kau’l from Kaneohe, ‘Oahu and taught locally by Pamela Ku’ukamali’l Gibson. All classes are rooted in the traditional Halau Hula (Hula School) style of teaching and will integrate Hawaiian value, language, and proper cultural protocol in the learning process.
