PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF GEN MAR DRIVE NORTH OF TEN MILE ROAD AND WEST OF NOVI ROAD.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Novi Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the same may be reached, on the proposed vacating of a portion of Gen-Mar Drive, located north of Ten Mile Road and west of Novi Road

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. Ten Mile Road, Novi, Michigan. All interested persons will be heard at this Hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission for the City of Novi will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March12, 2025, at 7:00 P.M.in the Novi Civic Center, 45175 Ten Mile Road, Novi, MI to considerJSP24-05WADE ONE / HELIOSPRELIMINARY SITE PLAN WITH SPECIAL LAND USE. The subject property, 45241 Grand River Avenue, totals approximately7.61acresandis located east of Taft Road, on the south side of Grand River Avenue (Section 15). The applicant is proposing to operate one business out of an existing industrial building. Wade One (Helios) is a company that will offer sales, demonstration, assembly and shipping of stone-cutting equipment, which is a Special Land Use in the I-1, Light Industrial Zoning District.

Plans are available for review at the Community Development Department during regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.).

BOARD OF REVIEW ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING   (NO APPEALS WILL BE HEARD)

Tuesday       March 4, 2025      9:00 a.m.

BOARD OF REVIEW TAXPAYER APPEAL HEARINGS   (APPOINTMENTS ENCOURAGED)

Monday       March 10, 2025      9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday       March 11, 2025     1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday  March 12, 2025     9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, come in to the Novi Assessing Department or contact us at 248-347-0485 by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025.  The March Board of Review meets to hear valuation and poverty appeals.  All valuation appeals, written or in-person, must be accompanied by a completed Petition to Board of Review (Michigan Department of Treasury Form 618).  We recommend written appeals be submitted on or before 3:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday March 11, 2025. Written appeals must be received prior to the close of the March Board of Review to be considered. Additional information can be found on our website at www.cityofnovi.org/services/assessing/.
