Volunteers Needed to Serve On
City Boards and Commissions
The Novi City Council will accept applications for appointment to a Board, Commission, or Committee year-round. All candidates will be required to attend a City Council meeting in November and will be given two minutes to explain why they are interested in and how they are qualified to serve. Appointments will be made at the first City Council meeting in December, or as needed.
If you are interested in volunteering to serve on a City Board, Commission, or Committee, applications can be submitted online or in person. Information about the various Boards and Commissions is available at cityofnovi.org or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 248-347-0456.
Applicants will be contacted by the City Clerk’s Office regarding the date and time of presentations to City Council.
