Beck Road Reconstruction - Grand River to 11 Mile Road

This project involves widening Beck Road to five lanes between the area south of Grand River Avenue and the north side of the 11 Mile Road intersection. Key upgrades include transitioning the corridor from a rural ditch profile to a modern curb-and-gutter system supported by an extensive new storm sewer network.

 

There is also a large diameter culvert that will be installed under Beck Road, south of Heritage Drive. The culvert work will require a full weekend closure.

 

Pre-staging will take place in March, with utility relocation and main construction work to begin in April.
