Join us for a week-long celebration of nature, sustainability, and community at Lakeshore Park! From April 21 to April 26, immerse yourself in activities that honor our environment, educate about conservation, and foster a love for the outdoors.

Seedling Giveaway

You can help the City of Novi celebrate Arbor Day and enhance your landscape by signing up to receive free tree and shrub seedlings as part of Novi’s seedling giveaway. Pre-registration is required. Click here to register and select the trees you would like.

Tree Fact Trail (All Week)
Explore the beauty and benefits of trees with informational signs lining the trails at Lakeshore Park.

Birdwatching Walk

  • Details: Join Wild Birds Unlimited for a guided birding walk to discover local and migratory birds.

Guided Nature Hike

  • Details: Explore Lakeshore Park with an expert guide and learn about the local ecosystem.

Novi Youth Council Eco-Challenges
Engage in daily Earth Day-inspired activities from the comfort of your home, designed to promote eco-friendly habits.

 

Arbor Day Celebration – Saturday, April 26

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Lakeshore Park

Celebrate Arbor Day with hands-on activities for all ages:

  • Garlic Mustard Pull: Help preserve the park’s natural beauty by removing invasive plants. Supplies provided.
  • Sapling Giveaway: Take home a tree to plant and grow. Pre-registration is required!
  • Tree Planting Activity: Be part of planting new trees in the park, leaving a legacy for future generations.
  • Educational Booths: Visit booths hosted by local organizations to learn about sustainability, conservation, and more.
