Cultural Arts Committee

Purpose

The Cultural Arts Advisory Committee exists to identify, support, and promote art displays, programming, and cultural events within the City of Novi.

Support

A staff liaison from the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department will provide committee members with information on current practices, regional benchmarks, and potential sources of assistance and funding.

Reporting

The committee will report to the City Council at least once per year and make recommendations as needed.

Meetings

Regular meetings will be scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The committee may adjust meeting frequency based on needs and workload.

• Public art opportunities
• Enhancements to the Villa Barr Art Park property and programming
• Cultural programming and events
• Youth and adult art programming
