Park gardens bloom thanks to community partnerships Two large
formal gardens have been planted at Fuerst Park utilizing funding provided
by the Novi Parks Foundation (NPF). NPF is a non-profit 501c(3) corporation
and a licensed Michigan charity founded to raise private contributions and
create innovative partnerships to facilitate improvements to the city of
Novi's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department.

Road Link Construction Project Information Meeting - Wednesday,
September 15, 2010 - 8:00am - 9:30am The
long-anticipated Novi Road “Link” Construction Project is underway!
The project includes the widening of Novi Road to five lanes from
approximately Main Street to south of the US Post Office, connecting
to the completed widening at the Ten Mile and Novi Roads
intersection.

Election Workers
Wanted Would you like to earn $150 to $175 in one
day? The Novi City Clerk’s office is looking for civic-minded,
qualified citizens to work as Election Inspectors for the
November 2, 2010 election. Hours are 6:00am to approximately
9:00pm on Election Day.

of Novi Continues Partnership with the Resource Recovery
Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC)
The City of Novi has renewed its membership with RRRASOC. “The
City of Novi has long been a proponent of sustainability and
eco-friendly initiatives and this partnership exemplifies that
commitment,” stated Rob Hayes, Director of Public Services and
City Engineer. “The most visible benefit of the agreement
realized by residents is the recycling center, located at 26300 Delwal Drive, which is available seven days a week from dawn
until dusk.”

Metalsa
receives MEGA Tax Credit to expand R & D operations in Novi
As an incentive to create and retain business in Michigan, the
State of Michigan MEGA Board approved a seven-year (pull-ahead)
High-Tech MEGA tax credit to Metalsa, the world’s top supplier
of structural components for light and commercial vehicle
markets. The MEGA Board approves the use of Standard, High Tech
and Rural MEGA Job Creation Tax credits and Retention MEGA Tax
credits for companies considering expansions in Michigan.
