Fundraising Event for Ben Martin

Bayside Grille in Walled Lake
Walled Lake Consolidated Schools announces a fundraising event for
Ben Martin, third grader from Meadowbrook Elementary who was
diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, on Saturday, November 7,
11:00am - 4:00pm at Bayside Sports Grille, 142 East Walled Lake
drive, Walled Lake. The cover charge is $12 for adults, $6 for
children. The event will include a buffet style lunch; Walled Lake
police cars on display; Wii tournaments (hosted by GameStop);
mini-manicures; raffles for Red Wings, Pistons and Lions tickets;
95.5 FM backstage pass; restaurant gift certificates and more. 100%
of the proceeds will go towards Ben’s treatment.

Novi Theatres presents The Legend of Sleepy Hollow -
Adapted from Washington Irving, this spooky show is alive with
hilarious action and fun. It begins when Ichabod Crane, a lightly
goofy schoolmaster, comes to the farming community of Sleepy Hollow
with all his worldly possessions. Performances

NYHA Game Day - Saturday, November
7, 2009 - Novi Ice Arena
The Novi Youth Hockey Association will conduct its 8th annual Game
Day on Saturday, November 7. Over 700 skaters will be participating in 24
action-packed games running from 7:30am to 10:00pm.
All players will receive a free hot dog, drink and treat. Vendors
will be on hand to take on-ice action photos and selling NYHA spirit wear. Visit the NYHA

Oak Land Award Presented to Mayor Landry
Jim Keglovitz from Oakland County Planning presented the Oak Land Award to Mayor
Landry at the Council Meeting on October 26, 2009. This first annual award
is presented by Oakland County Planning and Economic Development Services
Department (PEDS) to communities that have made
outstanding contributions and demonstrated successful efforts toward the
planning, promotion, design, development and support of Green Infrastructure in

In a continuing effort to enhance communication with
residents and businesses throughout Novi and share valuable public safety
information, the City of Novi is initiating Police and Fire Town Hall
Meetings to be held quarterly throughout the community.

Ringing in the
Holidays - Friday, December 4, 2009 - 6:00pm - 9:00pm
The City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department,
in partnership with ITC, is gearing up for the holiday season and
the annual Ringing in the Holidays event. The event, which includes
the Electric Light Parade, Santa visits, children’s marshmallow
mania area, live performances, great refreshments and more, will
take place on Friday, December 4 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Main Street, Novi.
