Try a Tai Chi fitness class with Novi Parks this Spring

Get moving with Tai Chi and strengthen your mind, body, and spirit.
Adults practicing Tai Chi
Participants learn at their own pace and no experience is needed. Classes are intended for the more active adult.

Students will learn five basic warm-up exercises, coordinated breathing exercises, balance, and weight shift controls that will prepare students for the longer standard 108 form.

Class runs from March 30-May 18. Cost is $64/resident & $76/non-resident.

Halau Hula (Ages 5+)

Grab your clubs and join us in the 55+ Golf League at Riverbank Golf Course.

Woman swinging golf clubPlay kicks off April 26 with leagues for Men (Monday), Women (Wednesday), and Mixed (Thursday). Partners will be chosen for you unless specified, and all leagues will consist of partners playing a round-robin schedule.

Spots still available for our spring Adult Softball league

We are a month away from the start of Spring Adult Softball and we still have a few open spots for teams.

Men's Divisions play on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, while Co-ed Divisions are on Thursday and Friday. The season consists of six weeks of doubleheaders, plus a post-season single elimination tournament.

Register as a team for $589 or call the Parks office at 248.347.0400 to be placed on a free agent list as an individual.

Join our youth basketball, volleyball mini-leagues

We have switched up our traditional youth basketball and volleyball format to bring you a four-week mini-league.

Youths practicing basketballEach week your child will practice for 25 minutes and play in a game for 45 minutes against the same 10-20 players. Teams will be switched up each week so kids can play with and against different players each week.

We have coed leagues for K-2, boys grades 3-5, 5-6, 7-8, 9-12, and girls grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 in basketball. Our volleyball leagues are for girls in grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6.

Explore your creative STEM side at Camp Invention

Pic-CampInventionJoin us for the programs that make Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and problem-solving more fun than you thought possible!

Camp Invention - Elevate will immerse kids in STEM concepts, as well as 21st century learning skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem solving. Camp takes place Monday-Thursday, from 8:30am-3:30pm starting March 29.

This program is for grades K-6 and is a chance to brainstorm with peers while building confidence in the natural ability to dream and create.

Soccer season is right around the corner and it's time to get registered for the NPSC Youth soccer players posing in front of netThunder Spring Recreational Soccer League.

The league has divisions from U5 to U19. All games for U5-U8 take place in Novi while the U9 and older divisions will play four home games and four away games against teams from neighboring cities.

Games start on April 5.

Show your moves in the National Flag Football league

National Flag Football FlyerGet your football fix in the National Flag Football league for boys and girls ages 4-14 years old.

Teams are formed by grade, school and buddy requests, with practices and games taking place on Sundays starting April 18. Cost is $135 per player and includes NFL Flag jersey and flag belt for player to keep.

Spend your summer in Novi as a Camp Counselor

Pic-CampCounselorIt's the best feeling in the world to make an impact on kids and you get to do that every day in the summer as a Camp Counselor.

We are looking for responsible, patient, energetic, creative, fun and compassionate people to join our team. You will work with a staff of 7-11 others to provide 30-75 campers per week a safe and fun camp experience. Pay starts at $10/hour and counselors will work up to 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm.

You must be at least 18 years old and have experience working with children. CPR and First Aid certification is also required and will be provided.

Novi Senior Transportation to continue service

Novi Senior TransportationNovi Senior Transportation will continue to operate over the next three weeks during the MDHHS order.
We are encouraging passengers to limit trips to appointments and grocery shopping.
To schedule a ride, call 248.735.5616 between 7:30am-4pm at least one business day in advance. Rides are available between 8am-7pm, Monday-Friday.
There is no charge for rides within Novi and a $5 one-way charge outside of Novi. Punch cards are available for $30 each for 7 rides.
