REGULAR MEETING OF THE NOVI PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner=s presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.

 

No person , other than a Commission member , shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).

 

The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission by Laws and Rules of Procedure.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

ZONING MAP AMENDMENT 18.594

The proposed rezoning of 2.55 acres in Section 16, located south of Grand River and east of Beck Roads. The applicant is seeking a positive rezoning recommendation from Low-Density Multiple-Family Residential District (RM-1) to Office Service District (OS-1) or any other appropriate zoning district.

 

CHURCHILL CROSSINGS SP 00-14

This subdivision project is located on 80 acres in Section 22, on Ten Mile Road and west of Novi Road.

The proposed development is in a Single-Family Residential District (R-4). The applicant is seeking Tentative Preliminary Plat and Wetlands Permit Recommendations to the City Council and Woodlands Permit approval.

 

CONSENT AGENDA

WEST MARKET SQUARE OUTLOT RETAIL EAST SP 00-24

This retail center project is located in Section 12, on the northwest corner of Grand River and Beck Roads. The proposed development is in a Community Business District (B-2). The applicant is seeking a Section Nine Façade Waiver.

2. NOVI CROSSINGS SP 99-13

This project is located in Sections 15, on the northwest corner of Novi Road and Grand River Avenue. The proposed building is zoned Town Center District (TC-1). The applicant is seeking a one-year Preliminary Site Plan extension.

 

3. APPROVAL OF THE APRIL 19, 2000 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

 

4. SCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT 18.163 ON JUNE 21, 2000

An Ordinance to amend Section 2511 of the City of Novi Ordinance No. 97-18, as amended, the City of Novi Zoning Ordinance, to revise the standards for exterior lighting within the City of Novi.
