The Planning Commission wishes to advise the general public that all remarks shall be limited to three minutes per person during both the Public Hearing and Audience Participation portions of the meeting. Petitioner=s presentations shall be limited to ten minutes.

No person, other than a Commission member, shall address an issue for public hearing following the closing of that public hearing by the Chairperson (except during Audience Participation).

The above mentioned participation policy is outlined in Sections 3.4 and 3.8 of the Planning Commission By Laws and Rules of Procedure.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

1. ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT 18.148

An Ordinance to amend subsections 1301 and to add subpart 1302.3 to Ordinance No. 97-18, as amended, the City of Novi Zoning Ordinance, to include as a principal use permitted instructional centers and to include as a principal use permitted subject to special conditions sit-down with a maximum seating capacity of 50 persons and carry out restaurants.

2. MORGAN CREEK ESTATES SITE CONDOMINIUM SP 98-27A

This project is located in Section 02, located north of 13 Mile Road and east of East Lake Drive. The 9.72 acre-site is zoned R-4. Applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Woodlands Permit approvals.

 

3. HARVEST LAKE OF NOVI SP 97-06C

This project is located in Section 19, on the west side of Sheraton Drive near the northwest corner of the interchange of I-96 and Novi Road. The proposed catering business located in an existing 16,350 square foot building is located in the Conference District (C). Applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Special Land Use Permit approvals.

4. DIBO BUILDING SP 98-63

This project is located in Section 23, north of Grand River Avenue and west of Meadowbrook Road. The 1.39 acre-site property is zoned Light Industrial (I-1). Applicant is seeking Preliminary Site Plan and Special Land Use Permit approvals.
