December 2016 - Administrative Assistant Renee Landis
Administrative Assistant Renee Landis
The Novi Police Administration would like to congratulate Administrative Assistant Renee Landis on being selected as the Novi Public Safety Employee of the Month for December 2016. Renee embodies a diverse skill set that embraces and supports the mission and values of the agency. She is professional, approachable, detail-oriented and enthusiastic during the course of her daily duties and this was exemplified during the month of December.
Once again this year, Renee volunteered to take the lead to coordinate the Holiday Adopt-a-Family in cooperation with Novi Youth Assistance and the Novi Police and Fire Benevolent Association. Renee worked collectively with Novi Youth Assistance and her teammates who volunteered to shop for the families in need. Renee also took it upon herself to perform the shopping for one of the families we adopted. Very late in the process, a fourth family was identified who obviously needed some assistance and she quickly identified a volunteer to shop for that particular family to ensure they had a bright morning on Christmas Day. All toll, four Novi families each received $1,000 in gifts, blankets, and other household essentials. Renee also purchased the wrapping paper, gift bags, package tags, and had the entire Training Center efficiently arranged for quick and easy wrapping of all the gifts. All this was done above and beyond serving as the Administrative Assistant for our public safety administration.
Every day Renee supports our administration by prioritizing, problem solving, organizing and adapting. Renee is often the first point of contact for our organization, and she offers a level of “welcoming” professionalism people have appreciated throughout the years. Renee is a valuable employee and for that we are all thankful.
The fire and police command officers and administrators congratulate Renee on being named Public Safety Employee of the Month - DECEMBER 2016.
