The Novi Police Department has developed and implemented a Home Watch Program for residents who are on vacation or gone from their homes for an extended period of time. Novi residents can come to Police Headquarters, call 248.348.7100, or fill out an online form under the Government/Public Safety tab at cityofnovi.org to arrange a Home Watch check.

Drug Take Back Program
The Novi Police Department accepts unwanted prescription medications on a continuous basis. Citizens may turn in unwanted medications 24 hours a day by bringing them to the Novi Police Headquarters, located at 45125 Ten Mile Road. A person turning in prescription medications can remain anonymous, if they choose.

Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS)
The mission of the Novi VIPS Program is to “Observe, Report and Educate.” VIPS members can help educate community members about rules and local ordinances for the safety of all residents.
