New - Community Quilt Project - One Novi -Deadline Extended to April 30!
Let’s all make a quilt square to tell our story - why we like living in Novi, our families, friends, and neighbors! Get creative! Instructions are available online at cityofnovi.org. All submitted 12x12” squares will be sewn together to create a community quilt to display in the Novi Civic Center. Not crafty? Not a problem! Keep an eye on social media for no-sew ideas and pointers. Drop-off or mail your quilt square by April 30 to be included in the Novi community quilt.

Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet
Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
Items such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs, bathing aids and protective garments are available for older adults in need. Available items change constantly. It is important you call ahead to ensure that we have the item(s) that you need and to arrange for a contactless pick-up. Equipment donations are accepted based on need. Items must be clean, in very good condition and ready to be loaned. For information, call 248.347.0414. The closet is closed Feb 15, Apr 2.

Let Us Do the Driving!
Be independent and continue a healthy, active lifestyle. Community-based curb-to-curb transportation service to medical appointments, shopping, work and more is provided to residents 55+ or with a limiting disability. There is no charge for rides within the City of Novi and a $5 one-way fee outside the City of Novi within
a 10-mile range.
Reservations are required 24 hours in advance. Transportation is available 8-7pm Monday-Friday. Call 248.735.5617 to schedule a ride 7-4pm Mon-Fri. Call Older Adult Services at 248.347.0414 for more details.

Everybody In, Nobody Out: Inspiring Community at University Musical Society

Fischer spent 30 years as the dynamic and dedicated director of the University Musical Society at University of Michigan. His presentation reflects on the power of the performing arts to engage and enrich communities - not by handing down cultural enrichment from on high, but by helping communities preserve cultural heritage, incubate talent, and make their voices heard.
Berlin: History and Highlights of a Fascinating City
Presenter: Mariya Fogarasi
Berlin has been called edgy, poor (financially), rich (culturally), liberal, exciting, historical, international and never-ending. Fogarasi spent 10 years in this fascinating capital. Her presentation focuses on favorite highlights of a city which marked the 75th anniversary of its World War II capitulation on May 8, 2020.
