The City of Novi HR Department also is responsible for the coordination and administration of the City’s various health and retirement plans for eligible active and retired employees. The traditional HR functions including compliance with all employment law requirements such as Equal Employment Opportunity, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, American with Disability Act and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) are also managed through Human Resources.
