The Assessing Department keeps records on all properties including land and buildings. If you have any questions regarding your assessment, they will be glad to help.

We continue to encourage residents and taxpayers to who need to submit Property Transfer Affidavits and/or Principal Residence Exemption Affidavits to the assessing department to use the gray drop box that is located on the east side of the south parking lot at the Civic Center (toward the police station). The box is indicated with a sign that says “Assessing Forms”.
You may also mail the forms to City of Novi, Attention: Assessing, 45175 W. 10 Mile Road, Novi, MI 48375.
Please provide an email address so we may date stamp your form as received, and email a copy back to you. Alternately, if you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope, we will mail stamped copies to you.
