Trails group posed with award.The Michigan Recreation and Park Association awarded the Michigan Mountain Bike Association-Southeast Chapter with a Community Service Award on January 7, 2004 for their efforts working on the trail. 

In 2002 and 2003 the group logged over 950 hours patrolling and maintaining the trail.  The successful partnership between Novi Parks and the MMBA has resulted in a user increase of approximately 150%.
