NOVI’S PUBLIC SCULPTURE EXHIBIT
Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, in collaboration with local sculptor and educator, Brian Ferriby, is proud to continue the Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit for the 2012-2013 season: a free sculpture exhibit waiting for you to explore on the Civic Center Campus June 2012-June 2013. The 2012-2013 Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit will continue to offer a unique blend of nature and art at the Civic Center Campus. Stroll the walking paths of Fuerst Park and experience the beauty of nature mixed with the creation of the human hand or visit the Novi Civic Center to view art in the Novi Civic Center Gallery. The exhibit also includes a sculpture by international artist and Novi resident, David Barr. This year we are excited to connect the 2012-2013 Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit with Art Institute of Michigan Sculpture Exhibition. This connection will help to identifying Novi as an arts destination and offer two locations for the community to experience public art and the outdoors. The exhibit is presented in partnership with Brian Ferriby, David Barr and Novi Parks Foundation. For more information regarding the exhibit or if you are interested in sponsoring our program for our 2012-2013 exhibition season, please contact Lauren Nowakowski via email or 248-735-5615.
