matriarchal wife, to his heir apparent son and his new wife,

With a group like this, what could possibly go wrong? But
when someone goes to “sleep with the fishes” in the middle
of the party, no one is safe from suspicion. Come join us
for a night of dinner and death, when someone gets murdered
in the middle of the party - it’s up to YOU to help the
detective figure out whodunit. A cast of hilarious
characters will help guide you through this evening of clue
collecting and finger pointing. Which one of them is guilty?

film-based class. Learn more about monologue-acting, taking
direction, listening, reacting techniques and auditioning skills
specific to film-acting. This workshop will be taught by Brian
Papandrea, a graduate of the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan.

DANCE CLASSES |
Motown -Style Ballroom Dance
Not your typical Ballroom dance style, this unique and popular
style of ballroom dance stems from the “Baby Boom” generation. It is
a combination of the Social and the Cha-Cha. You will learn the
basic ballroom steps and several dance combinations. Individuals and
couples are welcome. We take people with one or two left feet.
(Please no shoes with rubber soles). Last class will be a double
session 6:30-8:30pm

Learn most of the popular hustle dances done in clubs, parties
and social events. Hustles are a form of line dancing with a variety
of moves and turns done to trendy, in style music. It is not

ARTS ACADEMY |
 Performing Arts Academy
As part of the Novi Community fabric for the last 35 years,
Performing Arts Academy gives children the opportunity to discover
the joy of performing arts within qualified training programs. Our
educational efforts having been recognized and certified by Dance
Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of
Michigan and Cecchetti Council of America. We offer a complete
performing arts program for the recreational student through
professional levels in dance, piano and vocal.
Dance
Dance improves gross and fine motor skills simultaneously
increasing flexibility, strength and stamina. Dance develops
more than just the physical aspect of a child it also
enhances their academic experiences. The performance
opportunities build self-esteem and promote confidence.
Students experience the joy of dance in a healthy program
for all ages.
We offer classes in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and
musical theatre. NOW OFFERING
- Beginning levels for all ages
- Morning and afternoon classes available
- All hip hop class
Four program areas will be offered to meet the interests and
needs of all our students:
- Weekly classes running to June concluding with an annual
recital performance
- Recreation eight week program
- Theatre Street Dance Company classes for the serious dancer
- Competitive Dance Team

Piano
Performing Arts Academy offers a piano program for children and
adults. The piano lessons are fun filled, and many students enjoy
various musical activities. Instruction includes music theory, ear
training, sight reading, and sight singing. Suzuki and traditional
methods are used. Students are encouraged to participate in the
Federation Festival and annual recital.
Vocal
Performing Arts Academy offers private vocal lesson instruction
for teens and adults with certified vocal and music teachers. Call

COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE GROUPS |
Novi Concert Band
The Novi Concert Band invites interested adult musicians to join
the group. Become part of this band and meet new people who love to
play music. The Concert Band rehearses on Tuesday evenings from
7:30-9:30pm and performs throughout Novi and the surrounding area.

The concert is free and open to the public, with donations toward

The Novi Choralaires
The Novi Choralaires is a community chorus serving Novi and the
surrounding area. Under the direction of Janet Wassilak, the
Choralaires perform concerts for the public and also at community
events. Auditions will be held in September by appointment. Please
