Residents only. Applications accepted beginning in January
on a first come, first served basis during regular office hours,
which are 8:00am - 5:00pm
Beginning in April, applications accepted by non-residents or
residents for remaining available dates.
Rental Guidelines
- Applicant must be at least 21 years old
- Alcohol permitted in the park but not on the beach
- Applicant may not reserve for non-resident individuals or
groups
- Applicant is responsible for all participant and compliance of
all rules
- Drivers license/proof of residency required
- Applicant must be present during entire event

Park Shelter Reservations
Important: Our application and fee will be
accepted, but is approved by the Parks, Recreation and Forestry
Director. A confirmation will be mailed to you within one week
of your application.
Please bring the following items with you:
- Driver License (or some other picture I.D.) for proof of
residency and identification.
- Complete information about your party/picnic; date, times,
type of activity, number of people attending, specific facility
requested.

Off-Season
Day after Labor Day - day before
Memorial Day (discount rental rate)
- Limited service available - no staff on duty - beach &
concession closed - porta-john available
- Park hours - 8:00am - 6.00pm
In-Season
- Memorial Day - Labor Day
- Full service available - full staff on duty - beach open -
concession service available (hours may vary) - restrooms open
- Park hours - 8:00am - 9:30pm
Beach hours -
12:00pm - 5:30pm until Labor Day
There is a fee of $5 per car for non-residents.

Access to ski and bike trails is from the south end of the park.
Maps are available. In the "off-season" the south end of the
park is closed to vehicles. Park in the main lot please.
Mountain Bike Trail
Lakeshore Park's mountain bike trail is approximately 10 miles
long and covers a variety of terrain for both the intermediate and
experienced rider. In addition to the more challenging
mountain bike trail, Lakeshore Park also contains an extensive
network of wider trails suited to walking, family biking, and
cross-country skiing.. The trail head and information kiosk is
located at the south end of Lakeshore Park (601 South Lake Drive).
Note that motorized vehicles are not permitted anywhere on park
property.
