FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Novi, Michigan, January 17, 2008 – The City of Novi, in partnership with the Novi Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Novi Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present the annual State of the City Address Luncheon on January 24th at 11:30am at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi. The Rock Financial Showplace is located at 46100 Grand River Avenue, between Beck and Taft Roads.

City of Novi Mayor David B. Landry will deliver the State of the City Address, providing Novi citizens and business partners an opportunity to reflect on 2007 accomplishments that included the addition of several outstanding retail, commercial and health care developments, numerous awards and a growing and diverse residential population, as well as learning about the goals Novi will strive towards in 2008.

Registration for the State of the City Address on January 24th costs $25 per person. Attendees can pay with a Visa or MasterCard Credit Card or by check made payable to the City of Novi. The registration deadline is Tuesday, January 22nd.

Mayor Landry will also give a State of the City Address in conjunction with the Novi Homeowner Association Leader’s Breakfast, on Saturday, January 26th at 10:00am at the Civic Center. This event is free of charge, but registration is required.

"We always receive extremely positive feedback about the annual State of the City Address because it is an opportunity to look back at accomplishments and hear about exciting new initiatives," comments City of Novi City Manager Clay Pearson. "The Novi tradition of two deliveries of the State of the City Address provides choices for our residents and businesses to hear first-hand the latest news about the Novi community."

The State of the City Address will be cablecast on the City of Novi’s government access Channel 13 and will be archived on cityofnovi.org starting in February. For more information or to register for the State of the City Address please call Debbie Aubry at (248) 347-0445 or return the RSVP below.
