Press Release: Novi Provides Multiple
Opportunities to Hear Annual State of the City Address

Novi, Michigan, January 17, 2008 – The City of Novi, in
partnership with the Novi Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Novi
Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present the annual State of the
City Address Luncheon on January 24th at 11:30am at the Rock
Financial Showplace in Novi. The Rock Financial Showplace is located
at 46100 Grand River Avenue, between Beck and Taft Roads.
City of Novi Mayor David B. Landry will deliver the State of the
City Address, providing Novi citizens and business partners an
opportunity to reflect on 2007 accomplishments that included the
addition of several outstanding retail, commercial and health care
developments, numerous awards and a growing and diverse residential
population, as well as learning about the goals Novi will strive
towards in 2008.
Registration for the State of the City Address on January 24th
costs $25 per person. Attendees can pay with a Visa or MasterCard
Credit Card or by check made payable to the City of Novi. The
registration deadline is Tuesday, January 22nd.
Mayor Landry will also give a State of the City Address in
conjunction with the Novi Homeowner Association Leader’s Breakfast,
on Saturday, January 26th at 10:00am at the Civic Center. This event
is free of charge, but registration is required.

State of the City Address because it is an opportunity to look back
at accomplishments and hear about exciting new initiatives,"
comments City of Novi City Manager Clay Pearson. "The Novi tradition
of two deliveries of the State of the City Address provides choices
for our residents and businesses to hear first-hand the latest news
about the Novi community."
The State of the City Address will be cablecast on the City of
Novi’s government access Channel 13 and will be
archived on cityofnovi.org
