Novi High School Robotix Team

Novi High School Robotix Team 2008April 2008

Congratulations to the Novi High School Robotics team, parent mentors, and Magna Intier engineers of the Frog Force 503 robotics team.  The team was very successful, completing the Great Lakes Regional as Champions and winning the prestigious Engineering Inspiration Award.  Hats off to all of you and good luck at Worlds in Atlanta!  Visit the Novi Public Schools website by clicking here.

 

June 2001

The Novi High School Robotix Team, Team FATE (Finding Achievement Through Education), once again participated in the national engineering contest.  The students designed a robot in a six-week period using only the materials provided.  Mayor Richard Clark honored the Novi Community School Robotics program.

Certificate of Commendation

WHEREAS, today America faces economic challenges unprecedented in our history; and

WHEREAS, these challenges and how we meet them are crucial to our nations continued success, property and economic vitality; and

WHEREAS, in the next ten (10) years in American there will be a shortage of over 50,000 engineers; and

WHEREAS, the F. I. R. S. T. Robotics Competition provides training and encouragement to students to enter the fields of science, mathematics and engineering; and

WHEREAS, in this crucial competitive arena, Novi students, and in particular LUKE XIAO have stepped forward to participate in, learn and encourage each other in the robotics competition and more importantly to ultimately help us close this critical gap to our nations future economic well-being.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RICHARD J. CLARK, Mayor of the City of Novi, do extend our sincere thanks and gratitude on behalf of our entire community for your commitment, dedication and sacrifices and for your enthusiastic participation in the Robotics competition.
