Team (B.A.T)
Through the initiatives of the Neighborhood and Business
Relations Department, The City of Novi’s team represent expertise
from the private and public sector for small business owners to help
themselves. Team members consist of representation from Oakland
County Business Center, Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE),
National City Bank, for general financing, Chamber of Commerce and
City staff.
B.A.T. serves as an informational and networking resource,
sounding board and generally assists the business to be as
competitive and successful as possible. This program is
complimentary and all information and discussions are strictly

Cable Shows
The City of Novi and Novi Television Channel 13 are looking for
small and large businesses to feature on local public cable access.
Programming allows your companies free access to approximately
40,000 households. Novi Channel 13 is broadcast in the Cities of
Novi, Farmington and Farmington Hills. Click here to visit the

Corporate Review
Corporate Review, a
monthly cable access program featuring a variety of large
corporations operating in Novi. Hosted by Ara Topouzian, City of
Novi Economic Development Manager, Corporate Review is a 30-minute
program that showcases businesses that have twenty or more
employees. In a community which is experiencing an economic boom
in business, we are looking to feature some of the trendsetters
who are leading the way. The show takes a unique look at the
featured business by filming the entire show on-site, giving the
audience a rare look inside the operations of the business.
Faces and Places
Faces and Places, a
monthly cable access program highlighting the multitude of small
businesses operating in Novi. Hosted by Cindy Uglow, Small
Business Manager, this 30-minute program highlights multiple
businesses in each program.
Novi Pulse
Novi Pulse © is a
local television production focusing on one-on-one interviews with
area business people as well as leaders in the community of Novi.
These interviews will provide viewers with in-depth perspectives
on Novi businesses and the people who run them. For more

Do you want to know
what's hot and happening in Novi? Well, join Community Relations
Manager Sheryl Walsh and Mayor David B. Landry as they hit the
town. Each month, the SWOCC Crew join them on location, to
hear about the latest Novi happenings, including developments,
issues involving the City's Government and cool things to do in
Novi.

The City of Novi enjoys partnerships with its business community
on many levels, including advertising and sponsorships. The
Annual City Calendar and Parks and Recreation Guide provide a great
opportunity for businesses to reach the more than 35,000 homes and
business in the community at a very cost effective rate. A
wide array of community events also lend themselves as the perfect
venue for displaying community pride, from Addicted to Movies not
Drugs and the International Festival to the Ringing in the Holidays
Electric Light Parade and Fall for Novi, there are many
opportunities for businesses to share the Novi spirit. For

Coffee and
Conversation
The City of Novi hosts a quarterly educational series, one hour
in length, at 8:30 a.m. in the Novi Civic Center featuring guest
speakers discussing topics from marketing, communications, business
plans to City ordinances. Upcoming 2008 dates for sessions are
February 20, May 21, September 17 and November 19.
