Helping businesses grow and prosper is a major focus of the City
of Novi. The city is dedicated to helping foster the region's
economic base to improve the quality of life for its citizens and
business community.
Finding the ideal location is a critical step that can
dramatically affect your business. The ideal location must include
such amenities as:
- Convenient access to multiple expressways
- Easy access to utilities
- High-tech and industrial land development opportunities
- Impressive array of schools, recreation centers, waterways,
parks and a world class retail district.
These elements are the City of Novi - a dynamic community that
has been identified by major companies as the ideal location.
Novi is strategically located in southeastern Michigan, consists
of 31-square miles in prestigious Oakland County, and is just
twenty-five minutes from downtown Detroit and the University of
Michigan and forty-five minutes from Michigan State University. Novi
offers many solid advantages, combining an outstanding blend of
highly visible land development opportunities in both high-tech and
industrial areas. Novi is well-connected to highway, rail and air
transportation routes offering accessibility second to none.
Here you'll find that industry and a vibrant suburban environment
happily coexists in an area where expansion will be thoughtful and
balanced. Novi takes great pride in having superior parks, wetland
and woodland protections and recreation centers.
Additionally, in Novi, we are extremely proud of our cultural
diversity. More than 35 businesses based in Japan and at least 14
businesses based in Germany call Novi “home” in the United States.
Combine these factors with fiscal responsibility and an open
government that values and welcomes community involvement, and you
have a dynamic, prospering city.
Since 1969, Novi's economy has steadily grown. And with vibrant
economic conditions, the area has enjoyed many professional
employment opportunities.
